Pros

The team. Some of the most amazing people work here and I am so glad to have built a strong partnership with them.

Cons

* lack of communication in Leadership. * Radical behavior on owners part. Decides mood based around drama within their own wheelhouse. * Employees are on edge when leader is in the office. * Micromanaging and texting employees at 4am without any curtisy for work life balance. * Talks about their own employees then requires everyone else to behave properly. * Asks to make sure you are utilizing templates created by company, then gets angry when it's sent and not correct ( even tho you followed their own rules )

Pros

One of the pros that comes to mind when thinking of KHR is that the employer is always understanding about personal circumstances and will always try to help to the best of her ability if she can. Unlimited PTO within reason. Ability to work remotely as needed. Team members have each others back at all times. Employer only takes on clients that she knows we can manage and employer always gives opportunities to improve yourself in the business if you would like to.

Cons

This position is very fast-paced and may not be for everyone.

Pros

A few coworkers are the only reason this job is tolerable. This is not a review from a disgruntled employee. It comes from someone who found a better opportunity and resigned, only to be treated with absolute disrespect by the owner after ~1.5 years of service. At the time of my departure, there was only one other person with the company longer than me (and not by much).

Cons

There are so many cons to working for this company, most of which pertain to the owner's toxic and unprofessional management style. If you want any semblance of stability in your work life - run away. This owner changes her mind on her unwritten policies as frequently as you or I change clothes. Little-to-no benefits. This company offers nothing that is competitive benefit-wise in the workforce. The 'best' thing offered was a 'unlimited PTO' clause in my contract, but that is not even remotely true. You will be chastised for taking PTO and, furthermore, be expected to work on vacations. She also tracks your vacation time and has scrutinized employees for 'taking too much time'. You will be consistently overworked and stressed under a crippling workload. The owner takes on new clients without proper staffing, and you will have work piled on you with little to no help. You will receive texts and emails on your weekends asking you to take care of things, sometimes as early as 6 or 7 in the morning. The turnover in this company is atrocious. People don't stay for long, where I would guess the average probably is around 3-6 months. I was the most tenured employees with 1.5 years at this extremely small company and I watched over 7-10 people join and leave in that time. The company/owner has her kids working for her who receive special treatment. They call in multiple times a week over the pettiest of stuff or dress inappropriately. No consequences whatsoever. In my resignation notice to the owner, I was guilt tripped for leaving suddenly. She then went on to reach out to her clients and inform them I was leaving while belittling me. She also effectively terminated me before I could even finish out my time with the company and removed me from team chats.
