As it has less bureaucracy, suggestion is heard. As a small group/teams growth opportunity is more. As you work with many clients, you gain knowledge of different design flows, different work culture in different companies. Job of a manager of a outsource company is more challenging compared to a product company since here one has to manage 3 sides: You superior, your subordinates and your client.
Cons
As an outsourcing company work is driven by client and monotonous/manual jobs can irritate your employees. In Indian market iteration rate is more and keeping the team motivated is a challage.
