Pros

I had a great experience as a newcomer, good guidance from seniors and colleagues. It is a learning environment where everyone is willing to give time help and discuss. Claims are also paid promptly. Work time are also flexible, 1 day per month for WFH (although I prefer to have more), its easy to request with reasonable reasons. Flexible working hour too, A good job for someone who want a stable routine work.

Cons

You will take up few accounts all at once (in my case, at some point I was given around at least 7/8 accounts at once), it was tough juggling it while still learning and getting used to the systems. Works may be reviewed very late as reviews are done very late due to tough workload on the higher ups. So expect to receive late corrections to be done very late and need to be completed very quick. Not much growing experience or interesting accounts, as you may take care of accounts for a long time, the opportunities might be missed. The work become very routine and leads to burnouts every few months. The office is not so diverse as during employment I encountered only two males staffs excluding the boss.

Pros

- Great hands on experience, especially for fresh grads. - Exposure to diverse financial tasks that can strengthen your CV. - Young, casual work environment with an open office setup. - Flexible working hours. if come in late, just make up time & complete your 8 hours. - Got 1 day wfh per month, rest request for additional wfh is negotiable but only for urgent matter.

Cons

- Work life balance can be tricky unless learnt to establish boundaries early. - Workload can be intense, with limited delegation options so risk of burnout. - Bonus & Increment depends on client invoices, which may not always reflect individual contributions fairly. - Limited team diversity in gender. - Enforcement of 3 months notice period policy lack consistency. - Long term career growth is uncertain unless you thrive in high pressure environments.
