Pros
The company is developing truly differentiated tech that will make a real difference for our customers. We're talking about cutting literal days from the time it takes to get nurses and clinicians to the bedside, not to mention putting employees across industries on the job sooner. Best of all, this isn't some expensive premium service or add-on integration.
On the culture and benefits side, pretty generous medical insurance/coverage for a startup at this size. Honestly better that several enterprise companies I've worked for. And the unlimited PTO is not lip service. Most importantly to me, I had a personal situation come up and my boss said "take the time you need." And she really meant it. I've seen the opposite, and I can't put a price on understanding management and culture.
Cons
Like the title alludes to, as hiring ebbs and flows, so too does the demand for our product. We're getting better about forecasting and sizing deals, but usage-based billing is a challenge. Yet, it's what the industry expects and demands.
Leadership can be indecisive and under-communicative. I see this starting to improve, though.
