Pros
Upper management (CEO etc) try to do right by their employees. You work with every part of the food industry: supply chain, retail category managers, store managers, retail sales reps, corporate VPs, brokers and CPG companies.
Cons
Retail is a tough business and being in the retailer's corporate office gets you pulled into many tasks that are not necessarily your job. The job can be all over the place with all of the different people you coordinate with on a daily basis. They could also pay better for all of the work that falls on your desk.
