Work with great, passionate and fun people who love what they do. Love that everyday is something new. Work as a team for the most part. Able to work inside the office but also work within the community and actually see your hard work unfold. Flexible for the most part.
Cons
Executive Director is the pitfall for this organization. Although I appreciate his passion for the mission, after getting to know him more professionally and personally over the years, I have learned the passion is really for his ego. It's his way or no way. Credit is always to him and not to his staff. It's really a shame. Don't ever dare disagree with him, he will hold a grudge and eventually he'll act on that grudge in a very calculated way. Just be very cautious. You will drink the kool-aid and think he is wonderful, but you will learn that he is very much the opposite.
