Pros
Although the position, compensation, hours and opportunities were different from what I had been offered to take the position, it was a paycheck.
Cons
The position, compensation, hours, status, etc., I had been offered to take the position were changed before I gave notice to my previous employer, and not communicated to me until my first day with Kelly. There is no work-life balance. The organization is top-heavy with people and groups identifying new ways to make its employees' work easier, however the affected employees are never consulted. The end result is counter to the desired outcome, creating numerous, time-consuming workarounds and stop-gap measures. Support teams designed to consolidate and lighten job functions end up creating more bureaucratic red tape than previously existed. Thoughts and suggestions are requested by management, and (although voiced by employees) they are never "heard" before being quickly subdued by talking points and self-congratulatory or self-promoting banter about how great everything is.
