Pros
I began working before being fully admitted as an attorney and was given an exorbitant amount of training and shadowing opportunities. I was brought to Court, I sat in on depositions, and I drafted motions and reports to insurance carriers. Tons of experience which is helpful later on. Even after being admitted, all of my fellow associates were good natured and would readily offer assistance or advice in a heartbeat, and a few of the partners are incredibly accommodating.
Cons
Billables and micro-managing by a few select partners made amounted to a lot of stress. Some inappropriately harsh emails were sent out on blast which killed morality in the middle of a pandemic.
