Pros

Incredible access to beautiful projects, cool office, interesting and rich exposure to historical design. With some organizational and management changes, this could really be the dream job that it bills itself to be.

Cons

Team is largely disorganized and very little trust is put into employees. Projects that could actually be great are instead brought down because of leadership egos getting in the way. Last minute meetings, communication via text and calls and unrealistic timelines lead to scrambling, so the projects fall short of being the best they could be creatively. Meetings are often rife with gossip and miscommunication that is neither productive or professional. Decision-makers/upper management are not involved or interested in the design process or growth of the overall team.

Pros

Nice looking interiors to work in, office snacks, free weekly food, paid team events and holidays.

Cons

-This is a super gossipy work environment, where you'd always see someone whispering or chatting all day about someone else on a daily basis. Almost feels like retail vibe with a bunch of high schoolers walking around instead of a typical and mature firm. -Some seniors act extremely entitled and toxic, care more about their red nail polish and taylor swift's love stories instead of being helpful and respectful. Lots of passive agressive and two faced behaviors toward the designers from the other dept. Demanding and stressful due to seniority snobbiness. -The free lunches are more like a buffet style snack station for everyone from the whole building to fight over at the same time. You get the ugly bits or nothing if you're too slow. -Old brick building gets chilly in the winter even with the heat on, limited and cramped parkings in a small lot.
