Pros
I enjoyed the waterpark passes and discount on rooms.
Cons
When I started at KLC, everything was about creating the best experience for our guests. They would allow us and enable us to solve issues with guests but in the time I was there they took away that ability. Their focus changed from the guest to "sell, sell, sell" (that is actually something they are now training employees to focus on and you will get in trouble if you don't). They were very inconsiderate when it came to the work-life balance. They could demand you to show up to a mandatory meeting whenever they wanted with little to no notice. If you had family or life obligations they did not care. They would still count it as an "occurrence". My director changed my schedule at will and said that I had to be there no matter what. I was written up twice fo Promotions went to our director's favorites and those of us who were not one of those people were ostracized and pushed to leave or fired. We couldn't go to HR because our director would give favors and preferential treatment to the HR workers so they would never advocate for us. The pay was okay at best. Raises were scarce. At one of my reviews I was told that I didn't get a raise because I "did my job and left", I "didn't chat" with the director, and because I had 2 family emergencies in the whole 2 years I had worked there. My director knew I needed the job to support my family and so they treated me however they wanted because they knew I couldn't afford to quit.
