Pros

Employees are decent (non management). Pretty good vehicles. Nice supervisors (alarm, sprinkler, pre engineer). Purchasing employee is nice and helpful.

Cons

Senior leadership that does not care about its employee. Ridiculous turnover. 3 people in 1 management role in 6 mos. They do not value the good people, just reward the bad ones. It is not what is presented at the interview and they promise sign on bonuses and then don't pay out. The non compete is ridiculous and over the top and EVERY person MUST sign it - if you ever accept a position here, get that document BEFORE you accept and read it carefully. They want blood if you leave and they will come after you - one former employee almost lost their house fighting this - after they fired him for no good reason, they found out he was working for a competitor and sued him. The guy was just trying to put food on his family's table-he didn't steal clients or employees and they still went after him. The legal fees were so obnoxious he almost lost his home and they didn't care. Just ran off to their million dollar shore house instead. Be very very careful here, it's not worth your sanity!

Pros

The work atmosphere and culture at Keystone Fire is very team oriented.

Cons

Being as KFS is a growing company, there are occasionally some growing pains at times, which is to be expected. These are typically resolved in short order.

Pros

I have been with Keystone for over 3 years in the sales department. At times, I need to collaborate with various colleagues in order to do my job, and everyone is always willing to share their expertise when asked. My direct manager is clear with expectations, makes sure everything is on track and he provides guidance whenever needed. Our upper management strives to provide incentives for us to connect and feel like a family. Examples are: Employees appreciation awards, Company picnics, Chili cook-off, Spirit of Philadelphia Cruise (for all employees and guest), the list goes on. We have a Core values program in place company wide, detailing the high expectations we all strive to achieve and extend to our customers. I feel very proud to work for Keystone Fire Protection. The work we do is important, and I like knowing that what I do makes a difference in the world. I would recommend for those with the right "skill-set" and "desire", if you wish to be a part of a company like I described- definitely seek employment at Keystone Fire Protection.

Cons

The only con I have is with regards to process in relationship to my specific role in sales. I would like to see a more consistent, transparent communication with scheduling and completion of the work being done. This would be helpful as I always like to touch base with the client once a job is complete to make sure it was done to their satisfaction.
