Pros

None, zlich, zero, nada, nothing.

Cons

"Kids First" the place where they put kids, empathy, safety, and their employees last! The company is a decaying house of horrors where clients and workers are seen merely as dollar signs. A catchy name and core values paint a facade of who they really are. Technicians are sent to clients homes with little to no training or safeguards in place. New employees that accepted the job months ago have had their start date put on hold with no notice so Kids First has made several people go months without pay putting them in financial distress. The office is a tense environment where leadership never speaks to you directly but will speak negatively about you behind your back. They put on a fake smile for a weekly hello. Worst of all I don't believe they know a single clients name.

Pros

- Pay is good if you're competent - The people seem great - I interfaced with 3 different supervisors and everyone's very positive, very capable of giving relevant instructions.

Cons

tl;dr I felt like an independent contractor more than a part of a larger ABA firm. - Hours suck. They required weekend availability as well. - I had multiple 3-4 week stretches without supervision (my direct supervisor had extenuating circumstances, BUT there were two more supervisors associated with this case) - I can't imagine learning how to do effective ABA here. Supervision is by telehealth. I learned at a different company where supervision was constant for the first few days, and in-person supervision allowed my BCBAs to demonstrate responses to scenarios immediately. Perhaps new BTs get more supervision than experienced BTs, but the only assistance I received was in response to direct questions I had about the treatment plan. Therapy targets were added without explanation. - For several reasons, I got the impression that none of the supervisors I worked with had ever actually seen my client in person. I was given incorrect or incomplete information about my client, and aside from a BIP, I had to come up with a lot of response planning for recurring behaviors. It felt like I was doing a lot of work above my pay grade.
