Pros
working as a Highway maintenance operative, the 8 hours you are there for in a day are more like 4-5 of actual work
Cons
- lowest paid workers in highways maintenance, most if not all HGV drivers can go elsewhere for a basic starting of 30k, - HGV here is around 22k - communication across the board is non existent - alot of backstabing - pay is confusing - if you get paid at all, constant missing money and fuq ups every month with no explanation -bullying & victimisation from supervisors -a who you know , not what you know run place (benefits for those who are friends or family of anyone higher up) - management seem to only look after themselves all of this results in lack of motivation and work ethic
