Beautiful Office, Nice Location, Office Lunches, Great Culture, Friendly Coworkers, Learned a ton

The Manager was upset I didn't chat enough, and that I had an intimidating RBF. As a college student at my first corporate job, I thought that putting my head down and grinding was what was expected, I thought yapping in the kitchen would be bad. Now as an adult, I do understand that there is a balance to maintaining social graces and work, but I wish she had spoken to me about it instead of waiting until the end of my internship and giving me a poor review.
