Pros

While not especially passionate about e-learning, I love the work that I do here. There is always something new to learn, and the variety of work and clients keep things interesting. Team members are fun to work with and respect each others' ideas. Employees are empowered to innovate and help develop company-wide processes. As a Kineo employee, you should be comfortable with being self-managed and self-motivated. You won't find a manager who stands over your shoulder and micro-manages your work. That said, managers regularly make themselves available to discuss any concerns you have or to discuss potential growth opportunities. Ultimately, management makes you feel like a valued and respected team member. Good benefits (health insurance, vacation). Flexible WFH policy (even before the pandemic).

Cons

Good salary but not great. Need better onboarding for employees.

Pros

I've worked at the Chicago office for in the graphics department for nine years. The project work I've done while here includes food and beverage, healthcare, electronics...you name it! Every day is different and interesting. Our designers and developers work hard to keep up with the latest trends, and everyone enjoys the challenges. Our open office keeps us collaborative and efficient, and we have fun here! We enjoy occasional happy hours and holiday parties. There is always room for growth, and you are encouraged to find your own path. It's common for people to switch roles or invent a position to fill a need. I feel my opinion is valued here, and the managers do encourage feedback. The open atmosphere may not always work for some people, but we are offered the option to work from home when we need to, few questions asked. Most of the office will take a day or two a week. We have a generous benefits package as well that the managers seem to improve every year. I genuinely do feel valued as an employee at Kineo.

Cons

I feel like we should be updating to new computers more often, but it's not a huge deal.
