It’s a small team with the chance to work with some decent size retailers. You’ll have snacks. This is a very small company, so you can get away with a lot as there is little oversight. This is a company you go to to get your start, not if you have decent Exp.
Cons
One of the owners is very understanding, patient and great to talk to. The other, who manages product design just cannot accept any criticism. He will remind you that it’s his company and you will do as he asks. He constantly tries to tell you how many years he’s been a buyer for, but he is completely clueless as to purchasing best practices, data driving purchases, demand planning or forecasting actual are. He has developed a few good items, but he really has no clue as to what is trending in the market. Even worse, this one owner acts on sheer impulse, and has let go of talented people due to his ego. This company could be significantly better if it were not for the poor ownership that drive it into the ground.
