Pros

I read these reviews too, prior to joining the Management Team at Kistler Instrument Corp in Novi MI. I was part of an overall change in the Management Team. While I feel badly for the conditions that led to some of the negative comments here on Glassdoor, I am glad those employees commented. As a result, we've seen a complete overhaul of Management. It is our intent to maintain an environment that keeps people contributing, motivated, fulfilled, and feeling valued and respected. I'm not writing here to tell you to disregard the negative reviews -- I'm saying that we've responded to them, and the company in America is now on a much different path. This is a dynamic company with an excellent product, made up of a great group of people. If one of our open positions fits your interests, I encourage you to apply and interview!

Cons

Rapid growth straining capacity of existing facility in Novi MI. From this manager's perspective, that's less of a con and more an evidence of upward growth and further potential.

Pros

The coffee machine, that’s it.

Cons

Toxic culture and executive incompetence make this a challenging place to work. The U.S. leadership team operates through finger-pointing and gossip rather than strategy, creating a demoralizing environment in both the Buffalo and Novi offices. They are performative, routinely prioritizing 'optics' for visiting Swiss executives over genuine operational transparency. With a leadership team more focused on maintaining appearances than meeting their own targets, there is a systemic lack of direction and accountability that undermines the entire U.S. operation. I am surprised this ship has not already sunk.
