Pros

Casual atmosphere, free lunch on Fridays, overall nice people, decent pay.

Cons

Terrible management, didn't know how to manage projects, the due dates were unmanageable, so people had to work lots of overtime to do things fast, tired and obviously bad. They fire people every other week. Change plans every week as well. The main product is super overcomplicated and doesn't work well, you can't even explain what it is to other people. They don't care about the appearance or how good things are, they just care to get more investment money or sell the company. The quality of the projects is bad, not enough money or time allotted for the projects.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback! We’re glad to hear that the company atmosphere and team worked for you. Friday Lunches are one of our favorite perks as well! On the flip side, we’re very sorry to hear that we weren’t on the same page as far as the one or two recent staff changes and the overall company direction go. It makes us incredibly sad to know that you feel “everything is going down hill” when we are most definitely on the way up - it really couldn’t be a better time to be a part of the Knetik team. We will work to bring even more transparency to our operations in the hopes that we can avoid misunderstandings like this – thank you again for your review!

Pros

The company management is very generous and allowed me to continue my education while under employment, also when a personal matter arose they where more then generous with allowing me time off. The management was willing to listen to me make criticism about the company and policy and used it in a constructive manner to build and grow. The projects are often very exciting and deal with large structure such as clustered databases and servers this often made the process of development very educational. Also the developer team is often very supportive and willing to listen to all opinions and feedback on challenging problems that might arise.

Cons

The project managers where somewhat overbearing in obtaining and following deadlines, even if the deadline was outrageous. They often would not accept reasonable estimates and if given an estimate would immediately communicate that to the client as a deadline completely ignoring QA process.
