Pros

Weekly consistent pay Decent employee discount Pretty good Eye-care benefits 401k available

Cons

3% Yearly raise in 5 years was the highest raise I recieved. One raise. Not competitive in pay No real reason to buy the clothes as you can't wear a majority of them to work Cooperate doesn't understand how the job works in practice Incentives non-existent based on performance unless you trick people into credit cards. I asked a manager one time when they expected us to get truck done 2 hours earlier , and the basic answer was get it done faster with no incentive, no change in staffing, no change in procedure, just do it faster. They had no tools to offer a short-term incentive to meet demands. The "incentives" offered include small bits of candy mostly for getting credits. Good experience as an employee comes down to leadership, which varies Policy is unclear when it matters and when it doesn't matter to follow them. Corporate only seems to pay attention to ratings from online strangers over employees

Pros

managers can be friendly at times

Cons

Little to no training been working here for almost a year now there’s still something I don’t know every day. What was most difficult for me was being at registers as I was trained in two days by shadowing someone. There are so many situations and problems that will come up every day and you will learn something new! They never taught me about Kohl’s cash, how to read receipts, reprint or edit receipts. They schedule so little so when you do learn something there’s no chance of rehearsal because you come in three weeks later working at a different department.
