Pros
The office had casual Fridays and often staff would bring food on that day for everyone to enjoy.
Cons
Unfortunately there is a lot of office politics and gossip. The environment is toxic in that attorneys overwork their paralegals and as if that is not enough, they have a very condescending attitude towards them. At one point one of the attorneys threatened a paralegal. On top of everything, the pay is meager. Upon asking for more pay, it had been granted, albeit it was just a dollar more, but I was informed that I would no longer have benefits. Paralegals are seen as a tool, a means to an end and not as a person. Also, do not expect any sort of training or feedback, either you perform as expected or not. And if you don't, expect to be berated and thrown out.
