Company in decline, despite happines on Socials - Technical Solutions Manager Kyndryl Employee Review

Pros

Salary comes on time, if you are in an older team (if it still exist) then you have good folk around you making a purpose for your job (not line management!), total home office (if this yet a benefit?), still dozens of good and qualified and senior folk in there, who are on the same boat as you, still some Projects/Clients where it makes sense to work on (when the management is not trying to "improve" it).

Cons

Business in decline (older contracts not prolonged), company fighting to get back on track, totally overpaid C/top level management (keeping chairs), regular layoffs, hundreds of folk on "bench", no salary raises (except for alpineers), management with no added value (there are exceptions, but rare), managers repeating just corporate babble with no link to reality, you just fight alone for yourself (esp. in 2025 (2024) when the morale and teaming were flushed down the toilet)

Pros

Initially tried its best to meet its internal motto - flat, fast and focused. Pays competitively.

Cons

Currently, anything BUT flat, fast and focused. Hired a bunch of execs who know nothing of industry or our business. They've destroyed the startup culture. Constant musical chair re-orgs used by these guys to shift focus away from their extremely poor leadership. Currently, the only way to advance is to be best buds with one of these execs. ZERO interest in organic growth internally. Attrition is hugely high, yet no one is interested in the cost to our business and culture. Result is constant need to get the next new guy up and running.
