I worked with the owner very closely for a year and I have to say she’s the worst person I’ve ever worked for. She’s selfish and thinks employees are dumb enough to not see through her passive aggressive tone. Just because you are smiling when you say something doesn’t mean it’s nice. She micromanages and underpays but expects the world from you. There’s no room for growth because she doesn’t trust anyone and has to control everything. It’s just too evident they don’t care about their employees and only care about money. Her husband, the COO, isn’t any better than her. They were painting the store and didn’t let the team know (the team consists of less than five people mind you) and we breathed in the fumes for days. The COO, the owners husband, wanted to prove a point and proceeded to work with us in the fumes just so we would stay in the store. They also didn’t let the team know when someone got COVID. The only consistent thing about this place is the turnover rate.
