Pros
Depending on which department you're in, I've heard your experience can be very different. My time in the Systems & Planning department has been great. Our managers are supportive, understanding, trusting, hands-off, and treat you as a person first.
Cons
The time we're in. The transition to the county has meant uncertainty for our jobs. Upper management has tightened up office day schedules. For most people it's still only 2 days a week, but they are starting to enforce what time people come in and leave. It feels like an odd time to tighten the leash given all that's going on, and it's discouraging.
