Pros
Just scratching at the surface, because I could go on wtih how much I love working at LGC... - Flexible - Care about employees e.g ensuring positive connotations with typically negative processes i.e. absence management, "what can we do to support you?" - Considering the market, salary increases have been above inflation - Considerate and compassionate - Opportunity to grow and develop - Passionate about its mission - Strong leadership development programmes - For me, a pro is that the business can do with some improvements in processes etc. so the exposure that employees have in makeing said improvements is massive which is great for career growth - Incredible throughout COVID; provided 10 additional COVID emergency leave days to avoid taking unpaid/annual leave and understood that a large proportion of employees could not commit 100% - Bonuses throughout COVID have been very generous
Cons
- Systems need updating and integrating; currently there is significant manual work to get systems to talk to each other but I know new systems are coming!!! - I would like to see some of the initiatives put in place to be more than the reports sent to the Board.
