Pros
The guests are amazing there and you get to meet so many different people, the people I worked with on a regular basis are great at what they do and they give it their all 100% of the time.
Cons
The storefront I worked at unfortunately has one of the weakest leaders I've encountered that operates off a personal agenda. Things such as engaging in a relationship with another employee in upper management- that was made clearly obvious- and complaining about front of the house staff to other front of the house staff not in management were normal things to experience while on shift. It was a let down to work for a company I was so excited to be a part of when I started. Within 6 months of working there, there had already been 100% turnover behind the bar and we went through more bar managers than there are quarters in a year in a matter of about 10 months. At that storefront, you're just another COG in the machine, they overwork their employees to the point of unhappiness, and unless you're a favorite you wont be treated with very much respect.
