      Pros

      Nothing - They are a terrible company to work for if you appreciate your home life.

      Cons

      I summed it up!!! LHC is like a cult!! It's all about them and their demands 24/7. They have you working ALL the time and you become estranged from your family and friends. That's why I started standing my ground and telling them I WAS NOT working anymore hours than I already was. Apparently, they didn't like that so much. What I tell people when they ask me about working for LHC - if you can't stand being at home and having YOUR time, if you don't like spending time with your family and your home life is just plain miserable, then LHC is the place for you!!

      Pros

      Autonomy, days go by quick, expectations are defined.

      Cons

      Unmanageable workload/cases. Expected to fulfill number of points per week. Charting beyond business hours every day. Start of care visits also included hands on care. One visit took 3 hours because of 8 wounds and that didn’t include documentation. Oasis is tedious and comprehensive. Territory was supposed to be 10 minutes from home; it was not. Sometimes 45 minutes between each case with 5-6 cases for the day. Totally unmanageable for a seasoned and organized nurse. I cannot imagine how it would be for a less experienced nurse. Overworked and overwhelmed my entire time. I learned a lot from training modules but then you’re out on your own to troubleshoot. Unless you’re willing to hustle every single day and are willing to chart during dinner time and then still take time to confirm next day’s appointments, stay away.
