We are underpaid and management's expectations are too high. When management attempted to address the issue of everyone being underpaid, they simply said to apply for a higher paying position within the company--if one opens up. Benefits are provided, but it is sad that as a full-time employee my healthcare premium is high (chose the cheapest option) and my paycheck is low so I can either contribute to my 401K or pay for food. If you work here, you will likely need a second job.
They keep moving the "finish line". I started as a temp and my contract was 3 months to hire. No one stated until later they only hire contract employees after 6 months. In order to get hired, you have to meet a certain productivity. The productivity system was made up by people who have never billed, which makes achieving it that much more difficult. I have to keep my own productivity, because management's numbers will often be wrong.
High turnover rate is due to underpayment, undertraining, and high workload from day one.
