Pros
There's some discipline in structure involved to practice goal setting. The company has a certain way of going about things because it works. There are some good people in the company and they're supportive and passionate about what they do; you've got to respect that people are working hard for a living. If you have months of savings saved up to fight an uphill battle to sell office supplies during COVID, go for it.
Cons
There's no specific details of what the company is about when you initially look into it. It's basically door to door sales, with a "you eat what you kill" mentality. The 'entrepreneurial' mentality is great, but if that is the case, you wouldn't be working for other people at all, and have restrictions as to what you have to do with your time in addition to when and how much you get paid. To put it simply - you're expected to work long hours as an employee, but you're only an independent contractor sugar coated as an entrepreneur. The only kind of entrepreneur you'll be is the MLM structure they've set up; you'll be too drained and exhausted of your energy to do anything besides that; gl with that. Basically they expect you to work like a dog for the company with the expectations of a full time employee, without compensating you like one. Basically work for close to free, where you have little to no safety net so that's your problem if you get into it.
It can get cliquey. People may talk poorly about you if you turn your back especially if you're considered 'not one of them' with skills for other industries.
It's not the most effective and efficient use of your time.
