Can not think of 1 positive thing about this company.

This is the most crooked company I have ever worked for.Consider the following points before joining this company : 1) Every year they buy &and sell several hotels.They have no intent of creating a hospitality management company.They are flippers.Their name says : LRP Hotels and land development. They should have just stuck with land dealings.They have no clue about hotel management. 2) One word describes their company culture - Suspicion. They will drive you (GM) nuts by asking report after report all day long.Corporate will call you and demand explanation for $5.75 ! 3) When you go to their Greensboro,NC to learn their way of doing business as GM,the employees will tell you that they believe in extreme micro management. 4) They fired me exactly a month after my wife passed away.They did nothing to help me after my asst.manager quit right around that time.Instead, they lied and brought in their own person and then summarily showed me the way.They continuously checked with hotel staff if I was at property when my wife was fighting for her life in hospital. Does that tell you something about who they really are?

Pros

This company took excellent care of me as an employee. Ignore any bad reviews. If you come in with a positive attitude and work as a team player, you will be treated very well. They prefer to promote from within and are eager to reward a job well done. Wages are fair and competitive.

Cons

Small company, not as much room for growth beyond a regional vp.

Pros

Salary was within line of other similar properties.

Cons

-Bonus plan that no-one can explain. -Flex time that no-one can explain. You get flex time for any hours over 45. But again, no one explained how you could use the flex time. -Micro-manage. -Calls and requests emails that were sent, asks to resend because they can't find -All invoices must have packing slips. They WILL NOT pay without packing slip. -Packing slip and invoices must be checked as received or they will not pay. -COO is definitely not people person. While not accepting excuses is understandable, talking to someone as if they are 8 is not acceptable.
