Pros
Working at LS Carlson Law was a rewarding experience. The firm’s focus on advocating for homeowners gives the work real meaning, and it was gratifying to be part of a team that consistently stood up for individuals facing tough legal battles. This firm actually cared and that meant something to me. The environment is highly collegiate as there’s a strong sense of collaboration, and the attorneys around you are constantly pushing themselves and each other to grow. It's the kind of place where you're encouraged to level up your skills, and that drive for excellence is built into the culture. I left the firm for personal reasons, but had that not been the case, I would have remained long-term.
Cons
This is not a firm where you can blend into the background. It demands active engagement whether that’s collaborating with the team, interacting with clients, or staying sharp on legal tech, which the firm pushed. The firm is very tech-forward, so if you’re not comfortable with technology or prefer to work quietly behind the scenes, it may not be the right fit. That said, I personally thrived in this environment and found it energizing.
