Pros
LSA was hands down the best place I've ever worked and possibly, will ever work. The culture is professional, but not uptight and the management really listens to your concerns. The management allows you alot of latitude to complete your work the way you think it should be done, but is always available to mentor you through the process. This is an employee owned company that is very generous with the overall compensation (stock options + 401k matching + bonuses), although they are in the middle of the pack when it comes to the basic salary.
Cons
Despite the multitude of reasons to work at LSA, the one fatal flaw, at least for me, was the sheer amount of time devoted to work. Overtime is part of the territory when it comes to consulting in general, but LSA takes it to another level. Over half of the time, I would work past 10 hours a day and pulled several all-nighters and weekend workdays to finish my reports. Many of the senior management and partners practically lived at the office. I told myself that I could not continue to sacrifice my free time for the rest of my career.
