The work environment became downright unhealthy due to the patronizing attitude from upper management, especially the CEO. Decisions were made in a tactless manner, with little regard for employees who actually had the insight to help improve processes. There was a constant feeling of being belittled, as if input wasn't valuable, and this kind of arrogance trickled down through the company.
