Pros
Run by two great (very French) guys who are truly passionate about what they're doing and wonderful to work for. It's a very international team with lots of cool projects going on, and there were loads of opportunities to get involved and pitch your own ideas (beyond your set department), providing a rather bespoke professional learning platform. The founders therefore had a very inclusive attitude to running the company, but a strong weekly schedule that prevented this from becoming inefficient. There's also a very social side to Labiotech, which has many personal and professional friends in not only the Berlin startup scene - but across Europe.
TLDR: Labiotech has a proactive and warm working culture, full of good meme-ories. I miss our many French cheese and Club Mate lunch dates!
Cons
Since I joined in the very early days, some of the job's admin, benefits and expectations were subject to change and had some road test issues (normal for a startup). But management worked very hard to adapt to these changes as the company grew, really listened to our needs and resolve any admin/paperwork issues. Since the expansion LB has changed a lot so any other cons on here are well outdated! It's a fab place to work.
