long hours at times, confusing leadership changes in warehouses, more micromanagement as company grew
Lakeshore Learning Materials Response

It’s great to hear you enjoyed working with our stellar staff in Midway who are such an amazingly talented group! It’s true that our distribution team works longer hours during peak season, but we do maintain regular hours the rest of the year. While Lakeshore has grown significantly over the last few years, we remain committed to our cultural values and close workplace community. We wish we’d had the opportunity to discuss your concerns in-depth while you were with us, but we do appreciate you sharing your perspective here. Please know that we take all feedback to heart and use it to drive positive change for our team. Thanks for your post, and best of luck to you in your next position. – Tracy Keltner

Cons
Large organization. Sales process, reporting, and expectations are set for the lowest common denominator. More experienced sales people will find it to be micromanagement.
The CRM is a mess and creates duplicate work frequently.
Runs like the work being done is an emergency. It is not.
Work life balance is the slogan but not practiced
Micromanagement
Top leadership making unwise decisions both financially and operationally
Lack of direction
Too many executive cliques that never took employee survey info seriously
No room for growth (unless you are related or suck up) or
job security
