Cons
The organization has a very poor work-life balance, with mandatory six-day workweeks and often requiring work on Sundays. The leave policy is also lacking, as Saturday and sometimes Sunday are mandatory working days, resulting in most of our time being spent in the office. HR does not seem concerned about employees' well-being, as they have a separate leave policy that includes mandatory holidays on Saturdays. The work hours are very strict, requiring employees to be in by 8 AM, with automatic leave applied for tardiness. There is little consideration for evening sign-off time, with work often extending until 7 PM, and during month closure, it can go as late as 9 PM. There is no compensation or time off for extending work hours. The organization operates with a limited staff for higher profit margins, making it unsuitable for experienced professionals. It may be beneficial for freshers to gain experience and move on. Surprisingly, in 2024, the organization still practices caste politics, even asking for caste and specific community details on job application sites. This became evident to me after joining, as everything here seems to be based on caste, including promotions and salary hikes. Management is resistant to feedback and employee improvement, focusing mainly on profits with little regard for employee welfare. Appraisals are very poor, and I would strongly advise against joining this organization if you value work-life balance and family care. No one stays here for more than a year. Management should also prioritize employee health by hiring additional staff to rotate weekend shifts for every department, not just HR. There are many manual processes in place, and the CFO tends to approve manual workarounds to keep the business running, leading to a lack of proper guidelines for processes. As a result, many systems are corrupted. I strongly advise against joining this organization; the notice period is also three months with Saturdays included, making it difficult to attend interviews for new companies due to time constraints.
