Pros

There were absolutely no pros.

Cons

Honestly just read all the other reviews and take them into consideration. Horrible leadership, horrible culture

Pros

I worked at Landmark for almost three years. The work at Landmark is focused highly on Customer Service, being detail oriented, managing many logistics, and planning all specific travel for Incentive Groups. I began as a Program coordinator and worked my way up to a Program Manager in my three years of working there. I thoroughly enjoyed my work in both positions. You work hard, you are held responsible for many details, and must be able to prioritize your work. In return, you are rewarded with travel opportunities to supervise the trip, promotion to Program Manager, and personal satisfaction with your peers of success. I was constantly challenged in my work and always looked for ways to grow as a better employee and be a better event planner. The work you put in will reap the reward and outcome of your trip’s success. The team is close knit and everyone will help you whenever needed. Landmark operates as one big cross functional team- with that there may be some differences in personality, which you will honestly get anywhere. If you come to work, to work, and are positive and helpful, you will do well. My experience, unlike some other reviews, was extremely positive. The opportunities and responsibilities I was given were unlike any other job I have had. The reason I left, was due to a long commute from Suburbs to City.

Cons

I have liked to see an improvement in technology. Two computer monitors as a PM would have helped me tremendously. The opportunity to work from home for those with a long commute.

Pros

I enjoyed my time and the work that I did at Landmark and would still be working there if they were located closer to my home. Great people, best boss, good clients and a management team that, despite all their successes, is not resting on their laurels. They are still out there hustling to grow the business, provide career opportunities and continue to provide a superior, one of a kind experience for their clients and employees alike. The opportunity to learn from the many years of experience that the owner and management team have is priceless. Don't get me wrong, it can be challenging work but also very exciting and rewarding.

Cons

Every environment has drama and Landmark is no exception. The more you buy into or participate in it, the larger the role it plays in your experience. If you keep a positive attitude, stay focused on the good people (who have a mature, professional and positive attitude), the good work and limitless opportunities to work on exciting programs and travel to exotic locations, Landmark will be an outstanding place for you to expand your horizons and grow your career. Sure there is occasionally long hours to meet deadlines, but no more than in any other industry if your goal is to get ahead.
