This shows a lack of proper workforce planning and raises questions about whether retrenchment is being used as a shortcut to remove underperformers instead of managing performance properly. Management commitments around bonuses were not fulfilled. Medical benefits and annual leave entitlements have been reduced over time. Trust between leadership and employees has significantly deteriorated. After the previous Head of HR left, HR governance became weak. Management appears to run HR processes themselves, resulting in inconsistent practices and poor employee relations. This is not a stable environment for professionals looking for structured growth, transparency, or long-term career development.
