Pros
- The team I worked with was amazing. They are compassionate, funny, caring, and smart people who care about each other on all levels of management - Generous PTO policies, and very understanding when medical/family/other needs arise - Positive work-life balance - Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion - A nonprofit with a good cause and a tangible positive impact in the community - The company does take strides toward fair pay for all staff
Cons
- the wages are too low for the amount of work teachers put in - there isn't a lot of support for students with special needs and behavioral IEP's. Combined with a lack of special education training for teachers, these factors can make for a stressful work environment and for the needs of students to go unmet
