Pros
Cool people, nice office, and great healthcare
Cons
My mental health will likely never recover from how burnt out and unsupported I was during my time at LS. I am straight up changing career paths because I have been turned off from working in social media ever again and I will never trust management on any level to have my best interests in mind. Expect to work countless hours, weekends, and holidays (literally don't expect to enjoy the holiday season — you will be slammed, and you will be expected to work overtime for no extra pay and zero benefits for yourself. Thanksgiving? Work. NYE? Work. Memorial Day? Work. etc. etc.) Management claims to care about work/life balance but only so far as it benefits them. You certainly won't catch them working a holiday or a weekend, that's for sure. And while they claim unlimited PTO, the request will be scrutinized and you will be made to feel a burden for asking — despite leadership taking COUNTLESS days off because again, the SMMs are the ones doing the actual work so when we're out, it actually makes a difference. Cannot emphasize enough — wait it out and find another job unless you want to watch your mental health and personal health deteriorate and a rapid pace. They pay you peanuts and then drive you into the ground until you break.
