Pros
- Great scala functional programming shop, unafraid to use even relatively newer scala technologies like ZIO for one, or even less common technologies like graphQL instead of rest - No black boxes. This is a huge plus for me, and might be true for many startups as opposed to corporates where different teams have different workspaces and you need to raise requests to get access, or it's just tortuous to find where to look - Developers are trusted and given good ownership over their projects - Knowledge sharing sessions given by devs based on the project they're working on or the tech they are using, and with some really smart people in the room I really look forward to these - Singapore office has a game room with a PS4! - Great end of the year team building events, like a day trip to Malaysia for Atv ride and paintball, or last year's escape room challenge and team dinner - Company direction and progress are both made transparent in a monthly all hands meeting - Lastly, the team is great with really talented people in all departments, not just dev but also sales, marketing, customer support etc.
Cons
- Somewhat smaller startup-sized office with very little natural light
