Pros
Casual Environment. Good labor force.
Cons
Like many independent companies, all activities are controlled from the top. Cooperation is not encouraged. Managers have conflicting goals. Sales can do no wrong and they know it, even though sales are flat or in decline.
There are a few favorites that, no matter the failures, which are legion, still continue.
Others, at the lower levels, but still management, work hard, long hours but are ignored while their superiors may put in 32 hours a week.
