Pros

office was close to my home and it was a clean

Cons

Very hostile working environment. Extremely high staff turnover. Large open plan office, very noisy. Impossible to concentrate. No one was happy, and hoped to leave the company as soon as possible. Staff are over-worked. I never got a chance to leave the office on time. At least 2-3 hours overtime every day. The workload was totally unrealistic; minimum training provided. Horrible, horrible company to work for! High pressure to fake we had jobs for candidates and string them along so we collect resumes. High pressure to companies to give us jobs. A boiler room job from hell. My rates for them? Zero stars.

This review contains such an abundance of inaccuracies that the origin of the review is highly suspect. We will, however, address these statement so that future employees and clients aren’t misled. It is unfortunate that we cannot recall an unhappy full-time employee leaving us as we remain on good terms with our former associates - we have had several interns return to school and received thank you cards from them. Our longest tenured employee has been with the company for 9 years and only recently did we have our second full-time employee in 3 years leave the company. Our turnover rate is far below the average for the staffing industry and is the exact opposite of the review. As for the emotional state of our employees, we have a great teamwork environment and while the work is demanding, we have a team of capable employees who thrive on the challenges that our business faces. Our work is hard and our rewards are great. As for our schedule and demands on our employee’s time; We have very flexible work schedules and often rearrange working hours to accommodate our employee’s needs. As for the statements that we would misrepresent the trust to our candidates and clients. We flatly deny such an accusation and extend an invitation to the reviewer to address this issue or any other issue with you further if you would like to discuss in more detail. We do appreciate constructive feedback, however, we would prefer in the future that it has a reliable and truthful source.

Pros

Legacy's work culture is phenomenal. This is a true small company environment, in a smaller office just outside downtown Orlando. Both Paula and Chris are accessible and open to implementing new ideas within the company, and provide a great deal of training and feedback as needed. It helps that the company works in an interesting and dynamic field - the medical device sector has a lot of room for opportunity for someone who wants to run a full desk. Once you ramp up, the money starts to flow in. You only need 1-2 closes a month to start touching the 6 figure compensation mark. At the end of the day, if you're enthusiastic about making money and learning about cool technology, this could be a lifelong career. I think the longest standing recruiter here has been here over 11 years.

Cons

Most of the cons come from the fact that the job is recruiting. Some days it feels like you're staring at an endless list of phone numbers to call, and that candidates never want to talk. It can be very disheartening if you haven't closed a deal in a while. You have to be willing to put in long days grinding on the phone with >3hrs of call time if you want to succeed. If you're working to close a hot job, you might find yourself working a few 10 hr days in a row. There are a few clients that we work with periodically that are difficult to close business with.
