Pros
Great people in the line organizations, family oriented, very educated and professional people, good pay, encourage work-life balance, invest in training and education. Literally some of the finest people you will ever meet work in this company.
Cons
Benefits are steadily eroding, bonuses are slowly being redirected to top tier managers, especially executives, strategy is focused on cutting cost, no meaningful research being done despite immense operating cash and cash balances, executive management fixated on looking like main competitors to impress investors, requiring huge culture changes and a top down mentality, so constant reorganizations occur that kill strategic momentum (and some careers) and cost a lot of money. Literally hundreds of layoffs of good people in favor of outsourced business solutions or shared services - part of a predominating trend in the industry of accepting the 80% solution for business operations, leaving executives happy but leaving professionals and employees frustrated and accepting of failure.
