Pros
Big company with lots of project opportunities and advancement potential. If you are interested in a broad range of large scale worldwide projects, this is an excellent place to work.
Cons
This company has had trouble finding its place since it split from SAIC. They have outsourced many of the business operations, which make it extremely difficult to address even the simplest of issues, such as payroll or accounting. In my case, I was hired as a telecommuting employee and for the first 6 months, I had an office physically located in Washington DC, with a computer, phone extension and key card, yet I wasn't aware of this office nor had I ever even stepped foot in that facility. I only wonder who was turning the lights on and off every day. Management had no interaction with ensuring that new hires understood the business operations and accountable systems, despite a defined and documented onboarding process. Although opportunities existed and pay was sufficient, I was ultimately dissatisfied in this employment opportunity.
