Pros

Coworkers are great. The office is beautiful. CEO is genuine and kind. The development of automation provides a service unique to Lendio that many are eager to see in the future, but none of the positives outweigh the downfall of the last year and a half.

Cons

Pay changes are abrupt and without adequate reason. Goals will change on a whim due to an influx in MQL's, but automation takes over leaving the whole department far from hitting goal. No adjustment made to goal or acknowledgment from management until a company wide townhall. Since then there has still been no acknowledgement from anyone in the entire sales leadership. Layoffs over the last year and a half have morale at an all time low. None of middle or senior management in sales was touched. Their funding rally cries fall on employees who are bought out, overworked and frustrated with having their work not being good enough. 'Do more' & 'Push Through' is the motto of sales. You might get a Crumbl cookie or slice of as Summit Pizza as compensation. Forget about PTO or time off. While it is "approved" you will never be able to hit goal or recover from being sick or traveling. While at it, say goodbye to your weekends because you will be working every weekend just to maintain hitting your goal. There is a clear lack of communication between TL's, Floor Managers and Directors. Much information is thrown to the floor without confirmation or foresight. It will then change on a whim once a plan is solidified.

Pros

The office is nice, there are some good people (not in management) and the food is nice

Cons

Where do we start?? Leads are sent to friends of managers, brown nosers and yes men first, the rest are sent out to the peasants. Favoritism runs rampant, rewards, shout outs and trips are given to the same people over and over, not due to performance but because they're hand fed goldend opportunities, I personally saw a top performer close 5 deals without ever speaking to the customer, just let the deal be tee'd up and then coasting while dinking around the office acting like he rules the kingdom. Managers are shallow, money hungry liars who care more about their appearance and stock holders than the people, like they used to. CANNOT recommend staying away enough!!

Thank you for the time you gave to Lendio and for leaving this feedback — even when it's hard to hear, it's important that we do. Fairness on the sales floor — how leads are distributed, how wins are recognized, and how managers show up for their teams — are things we take seriously. The nostalgia in your advice isn't lost on us. A culture where new reps get celebrated, coaching is genuine, and people feel like they belong is something worth fighting to keep. We're not interested in defending the gaps — we're interested in closing them. If you'd be willing to share more about your experience, we'd welcome that conversation. You can reach us at people@lendio.com. — Lendio People Team
