Pros
Friendly colleagues. Nothing more but have to meet 20 word minimum requirement.
Cons
Senior management lacks of prospective of future -- all they care about are meeting this year's KPI. Even though they are yelling that make difference to achieve PC+ goal on the press, in reality they just want to meet sales target and ensure their bonus, in scarification of product competence, profit margin, cash flow, and employee benefit. In Lenovo, if you are already a manager, then it is good for you because all you are going to do is attending meetings, con-calls, which may not constructive or even matters at all. You can just ensure you can use your mouth, phones, Lync software, then leave all the work to your employees. This is indeed the 'management' profile in Lenovo, despite of which level of management you are. Put yourself in this situation and image that you are the manager of Lenovo, you wont leave you position because although your salary is slightly below the average, the efforts you make is minimum, compared with peers of other companies-- how cost-effective it is! Low pay and benefit, all-day-long-work, and very limited promotion space create huge turnover, and the company is still cutting budget on benefit and firing employees.
