Pros

Hard working employees that wear many hats

Cons

Management lacks any communication ability and is lead by an impulsive bully. 4 sales reps have been let go in 15 months and they are on their 4th sales director in 2 years. They refuse to listen to anyone's opinion or input. Management will spread rumors that the reason people are leaving is because of sales efforts. Very negative, toxic environment. Red flags. Stay Away.

Pros

Very flexible with school schedule and amazing hands-on learning for a great group of people who want you to be successful past your (paid) internship. Very understanding editors who know that there is a learning curve for this niche market but give you multiple ways to be challenged and learn new things. Fridays are great because full-time employees bring in snacks, rotating weeks so you get a sense of peoples personalities even if you don't work closely with them. Monthly in-office work "learning lunches," that answer industry questions and ask employees to think of the box.

Cons

It goes so fast! Poof, one semester is over and you're on to the next thing.

Pros

I thought at the beginning there were many, but in the end horrible company to work for

Cons

Treat sales management and account executives like dirt. Always changing your budget to make it harder to hit goals and earn extra money. Always taking accounts away from salespeople and giving them to other salespeople. Top management (President and COO) is a joke and never listens to sales' ideas. They put people on PIPS when they should be firing the president and the COO. This company never tries to build relationships with its customers. They would rather sell them products they don't need and won't help move the needle on sales and branding.
