Pros
Most co-workers are fun to work with and there is some autonomy. I worked in a seasonal position and was able to work at another venue during the off season, which effectively game me year round employment.
Cons
All the good managers get promoted and they leave the mid level daily management to ill-qualified personnel (such as promoted hostess with no management skills whatsoever).
