Pros
When the company was true to its roots, there was tremendous opportunity to stretch one's wings and take on responsibilities that would not have been offerred elsewhere. And employees really lived what was on the back of the badges, "If somebody tells me about a problem, it's my problem until it's solved.".
Cons
Sometimes new ideas were implemented even though the company's infrastructure was inadequate to support them, which caused some anxiety. But in the end everything always worked out.
