Pros

A lot of travel potential if you are into that.

Cons

The company is managed by two partners, one as CEO and the other as CRO. They play good cop bad cop, with the CRO always the bad cop. It's not an act though. Beware of promises about innovation or money making opportunities. They will squeeze every penny out of you and pay you the bare minimum to keep you on board. Also, once they feel you are making too much, they will alter the comp plan and pay you less. Lastly, the library market is being swallowed whole by digital media. Think twice before thinking this has long term growth potential.

Pros

I honestly can’t think of any pros. The workplace culture is built around isolation, fear, and threats rather than trust, collaboration, or professional development.

Cons

Every aspect of employment here feels like a con. The company is run by a small, insular leadership group that appears disconnected from the realities of the marketplace, yet consistently overestimates its own expertise and effectiveness. Leadership operates with an outdated management philosophy that relies heavily on fear, pressure, and intimidation rather than trust, collaboration, or employee development. Positive feedback is virtually nonexistent. Instead, employees are subjected to a constant stream of criticism, negativity, and fear-based motivation. The tone from the top creates an environment where people are afraid to speak openly, challenge ideas, or offer constructive feedback. Unfortunately, the problems extend beyond the CEO. The management team reinforces the same culture, resulting in a workplace that feels cold, hostile, and deeply unpleasant. In all my years of professional experience, I have never encountered a group of leaders who seemed so disconnected from the people they manage or so unwilling to foster a healthy, supportive workplace. The culture is defined by compliance over competence, loyalty over talent, and fear over respect. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking professional growth, collaboration, or a positive work environment.
